Community Need
Illegal dumping creates health, safety and quality-of-life concerns, particularly when debris attracts wildlife or accumulates near homes.
Colby's Role
Second Ward Alderwoman and constituent advocate.
Action Taken
Escalated resident complaints involving repeated illegal dumping, debris and wildlife; requested departmental action and removal; collected supporting reports and photographs; and followed up with City leadership on unresolved cases.
Result / Current Status
Cases have been moved beyond initial resident complaints into formal City follow-up and departmental review, including concerns affecting households with young children. Follow-up does not by itself mean the debris has been removed.
